The 2007Arcadia Chamber Players Student Chamber Music
Festival
Auditions: Sunday,
November 11, 2007

Music Room, Clark-Lindsey Village
The purpose of this festival is to encourage chamber music
making at the pre-college level and to showcase talented area musicians.
Eligibility: All
residents of Central Illinois area ages 18
and under. A chamber group must consist of at least two students who are
either instrumentalists (string, wind, or percussion) and/or vocalists.
Requirements: Each ensemble will be required to perform one chamber
music work no longer than 10 minutes in length.
Results of the auditions: The results will be announced in an
email by Monday, November 12, 2007. A panel of judges will select the best
groups to be featured in the festival concert.
Festival Concert Date: Sunday, November 18, 7 pm
Festival Concert Location: First Mennonite Church, corner of
Springfield and Lincoln in Urbana.
Awards: Each group chosen to perform at the Festival
Concert will receive $20.
All participants of the audition and festival performers will be admitted
into the concert free of charge. Each performer can bring up to two guests
to the concert. All others will pay $5 per person.
The Arcadia Chamber Players wish to thank the following organizations for

Registration: Each group as a whole will turn in one
registration form only. Registration deadline is November 1, 2007.
